I’m Kelly, an artist and illustrator based in Hertfordshire, and I’m excited to share my journey with you. I’m best known for my intricate and detailed designs that draw inspiration from the beauty of the natural world.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 3D Modelling and Animation from the University of Hertfordshire, and I later pursued a Master’s Degree in Digital Practices in Design, graduating in 2004. However, after graduation, I felt a strong desire to escape the digital realm and return to hand-drawn artistry, which reignited my passion as a visual artist.
“As long as I can remember, creating has brought me joy! I loved pausing videos to sketch my favorite cartoon characters, crafting board games, and designing greeting cards—there wasn’t a surface I wouldn’t draw on!”
My artistic path has evolved through various creative practices since school, and I’ve learned so much along the way. I cherish the inspirations that shape my work, and I recognize that the journey of art is never-ending, filled with endless possibilities and discoveries.
In addition to painting and showcasing my art, I’m also the passionate creator behind a delightful series of colouring books for both adults and children, which I proudly demonstrate and sell on television.
